The Delta Duct FD3-RN is a reinforced insulated flexible duct designed for superior strength, thermal efficiency, and long-term durability in HVAC air distribution systems. It combines the flexibility of the standard FD3 duct with an enhanced reinforced outer jacket, making it ideal for installations requiring extra mechanical protection and tougher handling resistance.

Construction & Design

The Delta Duct FD3-RN features a three-layer composite construction for optimal performance and resilience:

• Inner Core: Double-layer clear polyester laminate, permanently bonded with a flame-retardant adhesive, reinforced by a high-tensile steel spring helix for shape retention and airtightness.
• Insulation Layer: High-quality glass wool insulation that minimizes heat loss and condensation.
• Outer Jacket (RN Type): Reinforced metalized polyester with an additional protective mesh layer — providing superior tear resistance, puncture strength, and UV protection.
